University System of Taipei

University System of Taipei (USTP) is an advanced higher education collaborative platform comprising four specialized universities located in the greater Taipei metropolitan area.
The system members are:
National Taipei University (NTPU)
National Taipei University of Technology (NTUT)
Taipei Medical University (TMU)
National Taiwan Ocean University (NTOU)
Each of these four universities possesses unique academic expertise. Through synergistic collaboration, the USTP achieves comprehensive resource sharing and mutual enhancement of strengths. The USTP aims to provide students and faculty with a dynamic inter-institutional environment for learning and research.
Key areas of cooperation within the system include:
1. Shared Academic Resources
Mutual recognition of academic credits. Shared library resources and inter-library loan services.
2. Diverse Learning Pathways
Promoting Inter-institutional dual majors, dual programs, dual degrees, minors, and transfers between member universities, allowing students the freedom to explore diverse fields.
3. Faculty and Research Collaboration
Implementing joint faculty appointments. Fostering research cooperation and establishing inter-institutional research centers and graduate institutes to collectively enhance academic influence.
4. Joint Admissions
