Introduction
The faculty of this department, organized into the graduate program’s divisions of “Architectural Design and Technology” and “Urban Design,” is composed of professors specializing in these two fields, jointly shaping the distinctive character of the NTUT Architecture Research Team. In addition to teaching the specialized courses of each division, all faculty members also pursue professional research in their respective areas of expertise and personal interests. They actively participate in key national research projects commissioned by organizations such as Academia Sinica, the Ministry of Science and Technology, the Architecture and Building Research Institute, as well as various government agencies. Over time, this has led to a wealth of research achievement, positioning them as leading researchers within Taiwan’s architectural profession and enabling them to play a pivotal role in advancing the country’s academic standing and leadership in cutting-edge architectural research.
