Purpose of establishment:

1. Promote the transformation of Taiwan's construction industry, develop innovative green building materials that conform to the health, ecology, high performance and regeneration of circular economy, achieve innovative green health technology, and improve the sustainable and healthy performance of Taiwan's buildings and cities.

2. The R&D center combines the fields of industry, government, academia and research to promote the characteristics of innovative green building materials and the concept of a sustainable and healthy environment.

3. Assist the industry to cross the threshold of green industry technology, develop green product standards and verification systems, and establish national standards in line with international green products.

4. Integrate the resources of the school's departments and institutes, enhance the excellence of professional teaching, and cultivate talents related to cutting-edge architectural technology.
