The department (graduate institute) has entered into an agreement with the Manchester Metropolitan University of the UK in 2018 to unveil the mechanism of double degree for the first time in response to international exchange and learning. The department has allocated specific amount of scholarship fund from the donation of the alumni and also set up a special scholarship fund sponsored by the alumni for this purpose. In November 2019, student Hsu X-Huan of the graduate institute of the department has already graduated from the Manchester Metropolitan University.
